The Social + Emotional Intelligence Profile (SEIP)®

The Social + Emotional Intelligence Profile (SEIP)® is the most comprehensive, statistically-reliable, scientifically-validated instrument on the market today. Based on over 10 years of research, the SEIP® identifies an individual’s social and emotional intelligence strengths and development opportunities.

Based on the latest research in the field of social and emotional intelligence, the SEIP® four-quadrant model is the model used in 75 percent of Fortune 500 companies today. The SEIP® measures the 26 competencies identified as critical in socially and emotionally intelligent individuals, families, teams and organizations. View the Four Quadrant Model Here

The 78-item SEIP® is available online as both a self-report and 360 multi-rater format.

SEIP® - Self Version

Three versions are available: Adult, Youth (for ages 11 – 18), and Workplace (which uses business language). All reports are administered online.  Our Certified Coach will provide a link and instructions to take the assessment. Once complete, the coach will debrief the results and help him/her gain important insights into areas of strength and areas of development. In addition the instrument provides detailed report with descriptions of emotionally and socially intelligent behaviors when present and when lacking, as well as extensive suggestions for development, helpful for the individual receiving the results.

To strengthen development of social and emotional intelligence, the coach will work with the client to create a development plan based on the areas he/she chooses to develop. Over the course of the coaching engagement, the coach will provide activities to accelerate self-awareness, awareness of others (and their potential impact on others), as well as the tools needed to manage behavioral responses in challenging situations and key relationship management skills such as powerful influencing skills, communication, visionary leadership, conflict management, teamwork and collaboration, and building trust (among others).

This comprehensive coaching program is guaranteed to quickly enhance our clients’ awareness of themselves and others, and better manage themselves and their relationships with others.

360 Version

The SEIP®-360 is a great tool for gathering the perceptions of everyone around an individual regarding that individual’s social and emotional intelligence and how it impacts management, leadership and workplace relationships. It provides an accurate representation of what an individual’s supervisor, peers, direct reports, customers (internal and external) and others think about an individual’s performance in the 26 distinct social and emotional intelligence competencies.Three open-ended questions are also included where respondents may provide additional information on the person’s strengths and development needs.

Like the self assessment, the survey is administered online. The coach works with the individual to gather names/email addresses of the people the individual chooses to invite to give 360 feedback. The coach then coordinates and provides a link and instructions to each participant.

Once the survey is complete, the coach provides a comprehensive debrief session to focus client on the areas that will make the biggest difference to the success of the individual based on feedback in the 26 competencies of the four-quadrant model.

The SEIP®-360 comes complete with an Individual Development Plan (IDP) template built in that the individual can use to begin planning for the changes he / she intends to make based on the increased awareness of how others perceive him/her, and the impact he or she is having on the people around them. The report also provides an in-depth view of each of the 26 competencies, what it looks like in behavioral terms when they are present and when they are lacking, as well as a set of development tips for each competency.

Individual and team coaching is available to accelerate development.

For teams and organizations, we also provide a report on the team’s (or organization’s) strengths and development needs, so that training dollars can be directed to target the areas that most needed.
